Mumbai Feb 2017 – Effex Business Solutions, a Mumbai-based management consulting firm, ended 2016 with many achievements worth mention. “Our two biggest milestone achievements were growing our revenue by 300 percent, and moving our headquarters from Vasai to South Mumbai,” said Hardik Harsora, principal consultant and co-founder of Effex Business Solutions.

The management consultancy firm achieved another milestone early in 2017 – the launch of the Propel Excellence Programme (PEP) in Mumbai. Propel is a technique which focuses on three crucial aspects: growth planning, problem solving, and performance management. The key differentiator of this offering by Effex is that the PEP is aimed solely at small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This is in sync with Effex’s continued focus on this sector.

“Management consulting firms help large corporates improve their processes,” Harsora said. “But nothing exists to enable SMEs – the real engine of India’s economy – to improve their efficiency and revenue. The Propel Excellence Programme is yet another offering in our endeavour to establish effective business models and processes for SMEs across India.”

Formed in the current fiscal year, the PEP starts with an 9 day consultation with the entrepreneur, spread over 9 months. The consultation is followed by 21 days of process consultation at the client’s premise. “We help SMEs overcome blind spots and build a robust business, enabling them to take their business to the next level,” stated Fowzia Shaikh, cofounder of Effex. “5 clients signed up for the programme even before it was formally announced.”

Effex has good reason to look forward to exciting times ahead, apart from their existing premium services. In 2017, they will launch the Propel Entrepreneurs’ Board, a platform to enable small business owners to resolve business challenges with the help of Propel – a structured problem solving method. Harsora is also currently writing a book on the subject of problem solving, which is scheduled for release later this year. The management consulting firm is also well poised to launch a partner program for further expansion across India.
